Jayne Mansfield

The something about Jayne Mansfield, its not just her unusual measurements, but it is the sparkle in her eyes. The only film that I have seen in full is the Girl Cant Help It! Its probably her best work, the film is light hearted and fun, and she plays the comedian, parodying the image the press have off her. The clothes are amazing too and only enhance her innocent sexuality.
The only other film I have seen her act in, is The Sheriff of Fractured Jaw, frankly she plays a blonde bit of fluff with a breathless wispy voice. In one scene she wears a plaid dress, and shes so corseted underneath that her breast look like two heat seeking missiles, during this scene by the river, their so much innuendo at her expense its embrassing, it feels so personal!
I wonder how she would feel, if she was alive today? That her movies have became a bit of a joke and her image too.
Many women would like to imitate the look of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, but Jayne Mansfield?

This is one of Dita Von Teese's favourite films and based on that I wanted to buy it and you can see why its total fantasy, the set the clothes, the hair! She modelled one of her stage performances on one of the scenes. Her next show should be about eyes, Im convinced it would be a success, you know all eyes on Dita! After all she's already done the lipstick, made rodeo to give it a kick and the powder compact.
